Happy Easter!

This is what the Easter Bunny brought me...

And this is chicken about to take a big bite...

Ok, not really. It is the giant Pysanka (Easter Egg) in Vegerville, AB. A giant Ukranian Easter Egg. I had a visit in August 2008. Hoppy Easter!

Jennifer:

Well that is a year's worth of "egg eating". Good job you have chicken to help you.

Hope you are enjoying your "long weekend" and savouring the moments.

Weather here was so nice I washed curtains, and cleaned windows inside and out and cleaned the inside of the car. I drove to the car wash to clean the outside. I had the snow tires taken off today so I hope the weather man doesn't have any surprises in store for me during the month of April!

Hi Jennifer,

Hope you had a wonderful long weekend! Nice weather for biking and I bet you were glad to get out on your bike, maybe this will be the start of more biking for you out there. We had perfect weather this weekend, and I was productive, but not as busy as Edith!! I did some puttering and had family in Sunday for supper, my mom just returned from a 6 week absence from the Island, she was in Florida. Her and some fellow widows drive down for the month of March and they arrived home Saturday. We call the van the "widow wagon" as all 4 are widows and it's wonderful they have each other to travel with - and obviously get along well if they spend so long together!

Big egg!! I'm sure it's bigger in person than what we imagine in the photo, and chicken appeared to like it, maybe she/he thought it was a new friend ready to hatch!!

Camping would have been great this weekend, I might have even tackled it as there wouldn't be any bugs yet! I'm not into the great outdoors. I know you enjoy it so I hope you get out sometime soon.

Enjoy the short week ... Lori B.
