Thank you to everyone who wrote in with support. It certainly helped to read it this am before I had 'the conversation.' Things went better than I expected but I am glad it is over.
Since Calgary is experiencing mid 20 temperatures I may delay my job hunt by a day or two while I work on a last ditch tan at one of the parks here in town. Ah. Nice.

Glad to hear you did it and that it went well. They probably felt the disconnection as well. To relax in the sun and just "be" is probably exactly what you need right now. Think about the world wind pace you have set for youself this past couple of months. Taking some "Jennifer time" makes a lot of sense. You'll be that much more ready for job hunting when you go. Chat with your Saddledome co-workers - maybe some of them have day jobs where they are looking for someone like you!
